Thread: Trouble with Flip4Mac

  1. #1
    Default Trouble with Flip4Mac
    I'm on
    OS X 10.7.5
    Flip4Mac WMV 2.4.0.11

Every time I try to open up a WMV file and play it it automatically stops and when I try and stop it the same thing happens.

I know I know upgrade to 3.00, but when it was in the beta version I disliked it because it had to load the video and it was annoying.

Can anyone help me with fixing this odd error?

    Please and thank you.

I had that issue to. They no longer work with quicktime; I am guessing you are using that. I had to switch to VLC to play things now.

I switched to 3.00 to try it out again why is it that every movie has to load? It's pretty annoying so I downgraded and problem is back.

I found a .wmv and dude you're right. It is slow to load. Maybe they'll fix it soon?

I'm glad you thought it was slow to load as well.
I guess we can hope they will fix it.
I'll convert stuff to .avi maybe might take a while, but saves hassle right?

By the way I would use VLC if it could open up multiple files, but sadly it does not.

    Thanks.

Flip4Mac player was updated and seems to be more stable.
Until the next time… And if I help you out, give me a "Thanks!" Thanks!
