Macbook Pro - Black Screen - Still Boots
Hey guys,
I have a Macbook Pro (A1226) I bought on Craigslist. When the computer boots up, the LCD stays black. It does however light up to a lighter black, if that makes any sense.
When I connect the Macbook to an external monitor, everything works. iOS loads.
If the LCD was broken and needed to be replaced, then it wouldn't light up a little, correct?
Any ideas on how to fix this? I'm running iOS 8 something. Darwin.
Thanks,

Sound like you need to do a reflow to your logic board. Is the graphic chip a Nvidia geforce 8600m gt 256 mb?

I worked with iPhones a lot before I got my first Macbook. iOS is just what I got use to typing. Anyways, I fixed the problem, for anyone who reads this thread, by simply purchasing a converter at Best Buy for like $15 and connecting it to an external harddrive. Well, didn't really solve the problem but I found an alternative to it.
