My conversion to Macs
I have been a long time windows user for years, never really understood the appeal to Macs. They seem overpriced, at first glance really only offering aesthetic appeal.
Now that was what I would have said a week ago before I got my 11" Macbook air.
This is one of the fastest, most responsive computers I have ever had the pleasure to use. It is absolutely amazing what the solid state drive does for this machine, just pure speed and effortless multitasking. I have had multiple programs running without a hint of slowing down. The instant awake from sleep to browsing the web with in seconds, gives it freedom of use only rivaled by that of a Iphone or Ipad when it comes to quick web access. It goes from on to off and back on again in less than 30 seconds. It looks amazing with its sleek modern industrial aluminum design and effortless portability. I am quite sure this will have no issues fulfilling my needs as my primary computer, especially with an added external HD for back ups and storage.
So needless to say after years of dealing with windows pc's, It is time to say goodbye old friend I am now starting a new love affair with Mac computers and more specifically my MacBook Air.

I've been trying to decide what to get a 13" MacBook air or the 13" MacBook pro, leaning towards the MacBook air after reading your review and because of the weight, I need to carry it to work in my backpack.

Depending on what you will be doing would be the deciding part. Looking at the air myself and really hope to get one this year. I don't need a powerful laptop because my iMac runs fine. Just need something to brush up on some programming knowledge and other stuff while on the go.

We don't have an Apple store within 5 hours of us so I check out the new Macs at Best Buy. The Air is pretty sweet. Do they make a 17 inch?
