Utorrent or transmission. Tranmission is the better of the 2 I think.

uTorrent and Transmission.. Use them together because Transmission can create .torrent files, and then you can use uTorrent to seed everything

transmission is by far the best for mac or unix. Utorrent is the best you can get on Windows.

like just as an example i dual boot Ubuntu and Win 7 and use Ubuntu for transmission and if i need to boot really fast and do something or just get on IM or check email cause it's all integrated. But i use Transmission on Ubuntu way more than i use Utorrent because it's that much better.

Utorrent just went 1.0 for Macs the other week. I use it but Tranmission is great too.

Transmission is by far the simpliest and smoothest torrent client I have used.

uTorrent isn't terrible but it's the most frustrating client I have ever used on a Mac!
My preferred client was BOW (bits on wheels) unfortunately its development ended a while back with version 1.6 and its code base was never made open source. Too bad because was one of the fastest and loved the 3D representation of the download progress.
As far as uTorrent is concerned, after almost 2 years of us mac users asking for an option that would let users choose where to save a torrent each time one was opened rather than have it dumped in a common default directory (option that is instead present on the PC version of the software), we are still being ignored... or at least that's how it feels for lack of follow-up and delivering on feature requests. While features are implemented for PCs, the mac community is shunned so I would advise rather than getting frustrated and waste time providing feedback that will fall on stony grounds, just go with a more OS X friendly client and avoid uTorrent until it will become usable.
Best!
PS: Believe me I do not know WTF is the question "What is Jailbreak?" doing under my username.Last edited by freakqnc; 06-08-2010 at 06:32 PM.
