    Default help please!

    alright so all i want to do is view an .avi file on my mac! shouldn't be too hard, right? but i can not for the life of me figure it out, someone please help. oh, and i know theres something out there that will let me do it for free

    ^I agree VLC will play by default the avi or dmg files made in disk utility.
