iTunes + Mac failed me :-(

Itunes kept giving me a 2001 error when trying to restore and update my phone. It would kick the screen from the connect to iTunes logo to a flash of white then black then hang on black (all within about 2 seconds) and kick out a 2001 error with no specific description.

So ok..... I'll fire up windblows and dual boot..... Nada. Did the same thing.

OK, so I'll walk upstairs and get on my Compaq desktop... BAM! ...worked like a charm.

I dunno why, but even dual booting, changing USB ports, everything else the iPhone refused to restore on the iMac........ worked the very first time I hit restore on the Compaq desktop.

So sad....... Nice new pretty aluminum iMac and iTunes...... why hath thou forsaken me?

Thou has sinned.

You are forever cursed by Bill Gates.

Even Gates couldn't help me when dual booting. It took the USB hubs of a Compaq to kick it out.

I'm Pwning 2.1 on the iMac right now so I have forgotten the incident...... *cough*
