Default MBP or Imac or mac mini

In the market for a mac. any input will help. thank you all in advance.

I am going to get a mac in order to develop IOS apps. I have a few windows and Linux computers now and none of them are ready to be replaced. I use photo-shop, dream-weaver, flash, and adobe on all of my windows computers and i assume i will end up using them on any new mac i get also.

the options i am considering(let me know if i should consider others)

Mac mini to replace my media center or run side by side
    pros:
    cheep
i already have a big screen
    cons:
    slow
    i don't need 2 media centers

Mac Book Pro to replace my laptop or just use both laptops
    pros:
    portable
the new one is coming out in just a few days i think
    cons:
    slower then iMAC
    small screen

    Imac
    Pros:
I don't have a real desktop computer at home at this time(i use my laptop
    big screen
    cons:
    don't know if i need a desktop
i think the iMAC may be replaced with a new model soon, bad time to buy

I personally i have an iMac and love it I dont need something portable and the screen on it is amazing. Super fast and reliable.
Macbook Pros are great to if you need to be able to take it on the go. They have more than enough power and with the new ones getting released shortly it maybe the best way for you to go.

Mac mini everyone i know that has one likes it but it is not the best for power and speed

I have all 3, all are great. Just depends on your situation which one is right for you.
