Samsung Releases Two New Anti-Apple Ads
Samsung recently released two new anti-Apple advertisements highlighting shortcomings in Apple products to promote both its Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1.
The first ad features the 5.7-inch Galaxy Note 3. Samsung depicts the phablet-sized smartphone next to the 4-inch iPhone 5S. Basketball star LeBron James is on the screen while a voiceover mocks the iPhone’s screen size and quality along with the lack of a stylus. The narrator mentions the following in the commercial:
Wait a second, shouldn't we enjoy this high-definition jam on a screen that's actually high definition? 5.7 inches of HD? Booyah! Or 4.0 inches of non-HD? LeBron's literally running away from this phone.
And would you look at that? The Galaxy Note 3 comes with a handy little S-Pen. No S-Pen hiding in this other phone. Believe me, I've checked.
The second ad is a riff on Apple’s popular iPad Air “Pencil” spot that compares the ultra-thin tablet to a pencil. Samsung’s spot starts off with a pencil, much like Apple’s ad did, but eventually reveals an “even thinner” Galaxy Tab Pro behind the iPad. The company’s newest tablet measures in at 7.3mm thick while the iPad Air is 7.5mm thick. The narrator in this commercial mentions the following:
Wait a second, what's hiding behind that pencil? Ah, an iPad Air! Almost didn't see it there. And what's this, hiding behind the iPad? Ah, the even thinner Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1.
Those of you interested in watching the second ad can do so below:
For those of you who didn’t already know, Samsung has a long history of mocking Apple products in its commercials and has famously promoted its Galaxy line of phones by making fun of iPhone fans who wait in long lines for hours. Samsung is currently expected to release a new flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5, later this month along with a new Galaxy Gear smart watch. Apple on the other hand is expected to unveil its iPhone and the long-rumored smart watch later this year as well. We’ll have to wait and see how the rivalry between the two tech giants continues.

I'm sorry, but that "Lebron is literally running away...." I did laugh. And truth be told, I'm eagerly anticipating a larger screen. None of these facts change my iSheep mentality though. 😄Noobus Majorus thanks are welcome <---

What will the world do? A company released an ad bashing another company.

Haha those ads are pretty decent. I like the note vs iPad

Well if I want to watch a basketball game without squinting, I won't watch it on any phone. My iPad works quite well for that.
As for the pencil ad, all I can say is, looks like Sammy can't even make a commercial without copying!

If I dump my iPhone for a samsung phone just because they said so I'd definitely be a sheep

Better than previous ones, although still mostly appealing to uninformed consumers who don't know much about technology. The multitasking is actually a pretty nice feature.

Those were freakin funny!!! Nice job Samsung. The tablet one had me chuckling and (to be honest) the multitasking feature would be a great addition to iPads. Oh well...still prefer quality over features!

As I have said before. You can make a Chevy go fast like a Ferrari, but it's still not a Ferrari! LOL

This is actually good for apple, they get free airtime.

Why the hell would I want a stylus, when I have fingers? Outdated tech much Shamsung?

Samsung stop trying to 'prove' you're superior. You've been trying desperately to be the market leader... It takes innovation to do that, trying to bash the market leader doesn't change anything.

Still waiting on Sammy to come out with something that's not a copy of someone's else's product. For goddess sake use your money to innovate.
Apple make a phone, they make a copy, apple make a tablet, they make a copy . Apple make a thin tablet they make a thin tablet, if apple made a hat, Sammy would copy it, then release a video showing how their hat is taller.
I'd laugh if it wasn't so tragic

These are good ads. Lol. To people trying to stick up for Apple; why not just embrace the market as a whole? Samsung is damn good, no matter how much you deny it.
And the ads are also meant to be funny, I dont see why people are saying that Samsung is "copying" Apple in anyway. Its called a parody.
