A small but noteworthy event transpired today in the realm of Google Translate. On Tuesday, Google updated its popular translation app with native iOS 7 support.

Having taken much longer to roll out than initially anticipated, Google Translate now delivers that which you might expect with iOS 7 support, including a more attractive redesigned keyboard and status bar.

There's also handwriting input for more languages. Growing ever-more expansive, the list now include Arabic, Esperanto, Gujarati, Hebrew, Javanese, Maltese, Maori, Marathi, Persian, Punjabi, Telugu, and Zulu.

As of this writing, Google Translate (2.1.0) is free and available as a 3.4-megabyte download through the Apple App Store.
