Apple Updates iWork Suites for iOS and Mac OS X
On Thursday, Apple released updated versions of its iWork productivity software suite for both Mac OS X and iOS. iWork 2013 was originally unveiled last month.
For the Mac, iWork 2013 has received some much-needed improvements. In Pages, Keynote, and Numbers, Apple has made it possible for you to customize your toolbars in the application so you can have your most important tools show up where you want them to.
Pages for the Mac has been tweaked so that page guides display by default, Keynote for the Mac gets all new transitions and builds, and Numbers for the Mac now gives the user the ability to set the default zoom and window placement is now preserved when saving your file. All three applications have also been given miscellaneous bug fixes to improve their stability and fluidity.
The iOS versions of the applications have also been given some small improvements. The most notable are with Keynote for iOS, which has been given new transitions and builds like the Mac version of the application. Pages, Keynote, and Numbers for iOS have each been given their fair share of bug fixes and stability improvements to help with the applications’ usability and fluidity.
