Report: iWatch Will Be Available in Different Sizes for Men and Women
For a product Apple hasn't even confirmed exists - or will exist - there's certainly a lot of talk swirling around the company's so-called "iWatch."
On Wednesday, new reports out of Taiwan suggested that the Apple smartwatch is in development and could closely resemble the smartwatch designs previously patented by the Cupertino, California-based iDevice maker.
If the latest purported sources in-the-know are truly in possession of credible information, then it looks like Apple's iWatch will be available in different sizes for men and women when the product is finally launched (the Korea Herald suspects it could still be next month).
Despite dubious reports of the wearable device's launch, we've consistently heard that the smartwatch will serve up an OLED display and come in gender-specific models - 1.7 inches for men, and 1.3 inches for women.
Paul Gagnon, director of North American TV research at DisplaySearch, confirmed in the same report that which MMi covered earlier this week. “It appears that Apple’s long-rumored TV plans, which were far from concrete anyway, have been put on hold again, possibly to be replaced by a rollout of wearable devices,” Gagnon said.

Some people want a larger screen for the iPhone. Why would someone who wants this turn to a I watch? Which screen will be a lot smaller. I assume they want to compete with Samsung but I am not sure how many either of them will sell. Will have to wait and see.

Maybe they will call them the iWatch 1m and 1f, for male and female.
