Default Apple Seeds OS X Mavericks Beta 7 to Developers for Testing

On Tuesday, Apple seeded the seventh beta of OS X Mavericks to developers for testing. Developers that are currently on the beta channel can find the update under Software Update (Mac App Store). Alternatively, developers will find the seed on Apple's developer site.

Notably, Apple has not launched a seventh beta of iOS 7 today.

OS X Mavericks is expected to be one of the main topics at Apple’s upcoming September 10th special event, along with iOS 7 and a number of new devices like the long rumored iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.

OS X Mavericks will bring users a number of new applications like Maps and iBooks on the large Mac display, as well as other useful features like Finder tabs, App Nap, and Compressed Memory.
