Default Tim Cook Will Return for May's D11 Conference

Apple CEO Tim Cook will return for the D11 Conference scheduled for next month.

Kara Swisher and Walt Mossberg of AllThingsD reported Tuesday that Cook will open the D11 conference. Cook, as many will recall, provided his first major interview as the CEO of Apple during D10 last May.

This year's conference will kick off with what promises to be a must-watch interview with Cook.

There’s lots to talk about, from the explosive growth of the mobile market to intense competition from a range of rivals, most especially Google’s Android, as well as innovative offerings from Korea’s Samsung. It will be interesting to talk about the changes at Apple under Cook’s leadership, who took over from the late co-founder and industry legend Steve Jobs.
Today's confirmation of Cook's appearance indicated that the moderators will probe Cook for clues into new Apple products and insight into how the company will work to rebound from recent setbacks in the face of growing market competition.

    D11 gets underway May 28th.

Duh! Of course Jobs was the best, but he built the company himself, no one else could run the company as good as he did. Apple has had some bad CEO's in the past, Cook is awesome compared to them. He works well with the other execs, he cares about the company, the products, and most of all the customers. There are lot of crappy CEO's out there, Apple was lucky to get Cook.
