No, you're attempting to misquote me yet again.

This is what I originally said:
I've been to WWDC before but have yet to see anything that warrants the ticket premium.
Notice that I said nothing about how it benefits me. It did actually. All I said that I felt that the price was much higher than it should be, that there is a real mismatch here. That doesn't mean I didn't take home valuable information. So yes, you were wrong so please stop trying to change what I said just because you failed to understand what I had written.
Also who cares if someone can't go because of price. Is that a companies fault?
Absolutely it's the fault of the company that is putting on the show, if they are intentionally keeping prices artificially high in order to prevent a certain class of people from being able to participate. And when you consider that Apple doesn't seem to mind giving 150 of those $1,599.00 tickets away for free so easily (which totals out close to a quarter million worth) then I have to wonder if the price they charge is really warranted in terms of covering the overall costs of the event.

I don't fly to Hawaii because I can't afford that. Does that make hotel companies and airlines unfair because they don't price so ever Tom **** and Harry can afford it?

It's the same with Apple computers. Not everyone can afford them including myself. Does that make apple unfair for not lowering down there prices?

I also have no clue why your so defensive over it. People can charge what they want. And again enough people wanted to go bad enough that it sold out in 2 minutes. If people feel "forced" to buy as you stated, well that's there own problems. No one is pointing a gun to there head[/QUOTE]

Lol you put way to much thought into it. Apple is out to make a profit. Who cares if the price they charge is high enough to not just cover the cost but to also profit from it.

If it wasn't worth it they wouldn't sell out so fast. Bottom line. And another thing about your quote. Your point is that you don't feel that what YOU get out of it warrants the ticket premium. AGAIN this is your personal opinion (and I agree with you) however just because you or I feel that does not make it true.

Anyway it doesn't matter man. The thing is sold out, people love going and they paid the premium. Weather it's that high to weed people out or a class of people well that's your opinion.
