iWatch May Feature Fingerprint Scanning Technology
Generating another round of headlines today, analyst Brian White of Topeka Capital Markets has more to tell us about than just Apple's reported plans to launch the iTV with a corresponding iRing later this year.
On Wednesday, White also dished some new insight into Apple's eagerly-anticipated smartwatch affectionately but unofficially dubbed the "iWatch."
According to White, both the iPhone 5S and iWatch will feature fingerprint scanning technology for "essential security purposes." White believes that fingerprint scanning technology will figure prominently into the designs of numerous forthcoming Apple products, including the iTV.
"Early signs of movement in the supply chain" indicate that the iWatch may not be far off from launch.
Based on the latest reports from industry insiders, the iPhone 5S will be released in June, while the iTV is expected to reach consumers before the end of 2013.

The finger print technology will be useless if only have one hand (and I know someone who is minus an arm), so I hope this doesn't become the sole method.

I would expect there will be the option to enable/disable, similar to Passcode Lock on the iPhone now.

They NEED to get rid of the home button! Give the phone more of a simpler feel and more screen real estate
