Brian White of Topeka Capital Markets says Apple will not only roll out it's long-awaited iTV this year, the company will "revolutionize the TV experience forever" by simultaneously introducing the iRing, which will control the connected HDTV.

White tells Apple Insider that he expects the "iTV" to come with a "mini iTV" screen capable of letting users view content on the smaller 9.7-inch display. This "secondary display" is thought to provide iTV owners with a resource to be used for everything from home security to video conferencing.

"Essentially, we believe the 'mini iTV' screens will be able to capture content from the 60-inch 'iTV' across a distance of up to 200 meters, allowing a user to view 'iTV' content in the kitchen, washroom, garage, bedroom, backyard, etc.," White says. "We believe Apple will offer one 'mini iTV' per 'iTV,' but package options will include up to four screens (i.e., one screen is part of the standard package and pay extra for each additional."

All the above could enter the market "in the later part of 2013."

ITV will never happen , the tv might but the name not as its owned by the uk network itv , wish all these news stories on apple sites would stop using that name , itv operates in the uk and usa so apple will not get the name it will be called an apple tv , steve jobs tried to get the name and website itv.com but lost , if apple do use that name it will cost them 1 million pounds per day fine , so forget the name itv it will be something else and if its 4k then expect a min of 10,000 for the cheapest model
