Tim Cook Expects 2016 Relocation to 'Spaceship' Campus

By 2016, Apple will be in its new home - the peculiar but stunning "spaceship" campus that's been proposed and under development for nearly two years now.
Today at the company's annual shareholder meeting, Apple CEO Tim Cook confirmed that construction remains a massive undertaking but the facility should be ready for move-in within four year.
"We plan to bulldoze all the buildings on the new site," Cook said of his company's immediate plans, "build one 2.8 million square foot building that will be the most collaborative work environment."
In June 2011, just three months before his unfortunate passing, Steve Jobs was on hand to personally unveil the campus proposal before the Cupertino city council. Cook says that the forthcoming campus, which was largely designed by Steve Jobs, will serve as a lasting tribute to the late Apple co-founder's vision for innovation and his dedication to Apple. The spaceship-like headquarters with a circular design, set on 176 acres in Cupertino, is taking longer to build than expected, with plans to move in by 2016, Cook said.

Nothing else better to do today? Since when did this sites members become so uninformed as to what is discussed here? And so self-absorbed they think they have the right to judge the content posted here and tell us what should or shouldn't be discussed?
This is a Apple site...it discusses everything Apple. That being said... Even a "Apple headquarters facilities blotter" would fall under the category everything Apple. Go find something better to do with your day if you don't like what is posted here.Last edited by iLoveWindows&iPhone; 02-27-2013 at 07:19 PM.
