LEGO Lord of the Rings Coming to Mac on February 21

As many people in the game industry begin to realize the importance of the Mac OS X in the computer industry, more and more games are being developed to be released on Apple’s operating system. This time, it’s one of the newer Lord of the Rings games and it’s said to be released on February 21 for $29.99. Feral Interactive is preparing a port of the Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s LEGO Lord of the Rings to be released on the Mac App Store and via its own site.
For those of you who aren’t aware, the game adheres to the formula employed by other LEGO titles from developer Traveler’s Tales, such as LEGO Batman and Star Wars, this time with the Fellowship of the Ring. You could be battling orcs and other bad guys from Tolkien’s tomes while assembling things out of LEGO bricks to help them on their quest. Users will be given the option to play solo or play with another player and collaborate on the adventure which will offer the opportunity to unlock more than 80 playable characters.
Those of you who have a Mac and want to play the game on the OS X platform can do so as long as you are running OS X 10.7.5 with 4 GB of RAM and 256 MB of video memory to play.
