Recently Added Job Listings at Apple Point Towards Improvements in iOS Maps

In a recent update to its Jobs at Apple webpage, the Cupertino California company posted ten advertisements for positions within the iOS Maps team. This move suggests that the company is looking to enhance its proprietary mapping service drastically. The ten listings are mainly seeking software engineers to contribute towards iOS Maps, nine of whom will handle various programming tasks while one will be assigned to tackle the navigation aspect.
Taking a closer look at the listings reveals that the company is seeking to make upgrades on a number of fronts, including the app’s user interface, integration with other iOS services such as Siri, how maps are displayed in real time, labeling the various points of services and flyover visuals among other features. Most of the job listings start out with the common paragraph stating the following:
As many of you already probably know, Apple’s mapping service, which was released to the public in September 2012, drew many complains from users around the world who found multiple inaccuracies, poor implementation of various features and lack of polish which is normally seen in any Apple product or service. The whole issue led to Tim Cook issuing an apology letter and then firing the executive in charge of the first-party mapping solution. The iOS Maps team is looking for a proactive and hardworking software engineer to join our team. The Maps application is used by millions of customers and it's the best mapping program on any mobile platform. Our team is also responsible for MapKit, the iOS framework that displays maps which is used by countless applications on the App Store.
As of right now, the company seems to be amidst rebuilding the iOS Maps team in hopes of giving the app the improvements it needs to compete in today’s market.

Oh it's the job listings that point to that, not the fact that they've been under harassment for months about it and they are a business that is successful and would like to keep it that way.
Honestly we don't need an article for every job listing... Hey guys apple is looking for an internship! This points to the idea that they will probably higher Tim cooks nephew! That means they higher from within!
Btw the sources +1
