Default Traffic From Unnamed OS X 10.9 Operating System On the Rise

Apple’s current public OS X operating system version is OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2. Also in beta for developer testing at this point in time, is OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.3. Suspiciously, AppleInsider reports that an unnamed OS X 10.9 operating system is illustrating rising numbers in traffic. Above is a graph depicting the OS X 10.9 traffic that has been collected for the last couple of weeks.

OS X 10.9 is an unnamed operating system, as Apple have not made any hints toward the release to anyone yet publicly. That being said, it will be interesting to see what they name it, as OS X Mountain Lion took many by surprise as it was thought that Apple had used all the major cat species up for names already. OS X 10.9 is most likely experiencing an internal beta test and is expected to be announced early this year.

In November of last year, rumors were spreading that OS X 10.9 would include support for Apple’s voice assistant, Siri, which currently exists only on iOS devices like the iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPod touch 5G and iPad with retina display. In addition, OS X 10.9 would support a native version of Apple’s new Mapping solution that debuted with iOS 6 on Apple’s mobile devices, including many of the new features, such as 3-D flyover view.

It may still be a while before the OS X 10.9 is announced, as even OS X 10.8.3 has yet to hit the public’s hands. A public developer testing period will need to happen before the public can get their hands on OS X 10.9, which will likely become a digital upgrade over the Mac App Store when the time comes.

I was thinking "Sabre" would be a cool name as that was/is the pinnacle of the cat species...but then it's extinct! :-o

How can they be looking at traffic from an unnamed and unreleased OS?
I think they should call it "Pussy Cat" or "Nasty P*ssy".

Lol...Lynx would be really funny because I bet a ton of people would mistakenly pronounce it as OSX Linux...haha. How about OSX Sabertooth. That would be one badazz OS.
