Is Staples Almost Ready to Begin Selling Apple Products in the U.S.?
Apple Stores aren’t the only retailers that sell Apple products; Walmart, Best Buy, Target, and many other large electronic retailers also carry Apple devices and accessories. One large name in the office and technology industry is Staples, however they have yet to sell very much Apple tech in the U.S. Staples does, on the other hand, sell numerous other PCs and tablets. Could this be changing in the near future?
9to5Mac reports that Staples’ Web site has begun to list Apple T.V. for $49, as well as some other Apple accessories. They are posted on ‘mockup’ pages that have the word “Test” in the product description, hinting that the company is posting test pages for the possibility of future Apple merchandise. Below is a look at what shows up when we search "Apple TV" in the Staples Web site search field:
As you can see, there is no obvious way of purchasing the Apple T.V. through Staples, as there is no “add to cart” button, "order" button, or anything of the such. Interestingly, the image indeed shows an Apple T.V. and the description of the product makes note of all the features the Apple T.V. has.
The mockup page sure gives us the impression that the Apple T.V. and perhaps other Apple devices could finally be coming to a Staples near you in the future. What are your thoughts?

They've had Apple products for a long time.
I got a killer deal on a couple of 3rd-gen 32GB iPod touch a couple years ago. I think they sold for twice what I had paid for them.
