Munster: Apple's HDTV at Center of Company's 2013 Product Launches
Much like the iPad mini - a device that was rumored for well over a year before actually turning up - Apple's still unconfirmed HDTV is poised to debut sometime in 2013 if all the insider sources and market analysts are correct. And should this reality come to pass, the Apple HDTV will likely be one of - if not the biggest - product launches on tap for Apple next year.
On Tuesday, resident Apple watcher Gene Munster of Piper Jaffray released a note to investors in which he prognosticated about what's to come for Apple in 2013. The biggest release could be the $1,500 to $2,000 Apple HDTV, with screen sizes ranging from 42 to 55 inches.
"We expect the beauty of the design to be a feature, but the most important feature will be the ability to use the TV as the main interface for the living room across multiple devices," Munster says. "We believe the TV will include Siri and FaceTime. The biggest item unlikely to come with the TV will be unbundled channels."
Munster thinks the early part of the year will bring a rumored Apple radio service, an updated iPad mini with the “retina display” screen found on the higher-end iPad, and perhaps a new version of Apple's “Apple TV” set-top box that may offer access to software programs in Apple's “App Store.”

It's not coming. There would be leaks by now, the only reason we have any information about this is because 1 sentence was devoted to it in that biography, which in itself is a secondary source. No one cares what analysts think, the only difference between them and us is that they do "analyzing" for a living.

Gene Munster has been predicting the Apple HDTV for over 10 years... Eventually he would have to be right.
Looks like that year is next year.

TV or not, why did Apple release the iPad 4 in October and what's coming in March then? Unless they'll just release everything at the same freaking time.
