Apple Exec Lands on Ferrari Board of Directors
Apple executives know a thing or two about driving a company in the right direction. So perhaps when the company itself is all about the driving experience, it makes sense to have some input from an Apple executive. That's exactly the line of thinking at Ferrari.
Eddy Cue, who famously serves as Apple's head of Internet software and services, has been appointed to the Ferrari board of directors.
“I am pleased and proud to become a member of the board," Cue stated upon his appointment to the board. "I have personally dreamed of owning a Ferrari since I was eight years old and have been lucky to be an owner for the past five years. I continue to be awed by the world-class design and engineering that only Ferrari can do."
Ordinarily, such an appointment wouldn't necessarily be newsworthy, but Cue's installment on the board continues to fuel speculation that Apple wants to make technologies and devices for luxury vehicles - a category that Ferrari knows a thing or two about.
As of this writing, the USA remains Ferrari’s largest market internationally. But nether Ferrari or Apple will formally comment on any aspect of a partnership beyond Cue's new position on the board.

A nice way for Ferrari to remove more if the driver appeal. The 458 is an amazing car but to automated.
Don't get me wrong, I love tech but i don't like it getting In the way of my driving experience

But anyway just cause an apple exec is part of their board doesn't mean he has the right or power to integrate apple product into ferraris. Apple isn't known for licensing..
