New Aperture and iPhoto Updates Provide Shared Photo Stream Support

Shortly after Apple released OS X 10.8.2 Mountain Lion and iOS 6, the Cupertino California company also rolled out updates for the consumer level iPhoto and the professional grade Aperture image organization and editing apps. The updates grant both apps access to Share Photo Streams., the iCloud-based service that allows users to share photos with any iOS, OS X, or PC user. Shared Photo Streams offers support for comments and notifications as well as a web-based client, which can come in pretty handy.

I really don't like the idea of auto uploading things to Facebook that makes me extremely uncomfortable. People don't realize how much your social profiles can reveal..
