Apple Releases New Developer Beta for OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.1

Although Mountain Lion has been quite successful, it's had its own fair share of problems. That being said, Apple seems to be working on releasing a public update to help patch some of the issues surrounding the launch of its new Mac operating system. The Cupertino California company has seeded another update, OS X 10.8.1 developer beta (build 12B17).
The first 10.8.1 developer beta was released just about a week ago; with the second minor update indicating that the public release should be right around the corner. The update doesn’t contain any known issues but Apple does ask developers to focus on specific areas like Active Directory, iCal, and Microsoft Exchange in Mail.
OS X Mountain Lion was released to the public on July 25, 2012 for $20 on the Mac App Store. The adoption rate for the operating system has been quite the success due to various factors such as the list of features and more importantly the effective price point. For those of you who haven’t jumped ship and have been waiting for bugs and issues to be ironed out, just be patient, the update should be released in the near future.
