Conan O'Brien Plays a Parody Video Regarding Apple vs. Samsung Case
With the Apple vs. Samsung trial gaining popularity and becoming quite entertaining for some (think about Best Buy customers mistakenly purchasing Samsung tablets thinking they purchased iPads), hilarity continues to ensue. In a funny sneak preview clip, Conan O'Brien plays a video from a “Samsung Vice President,” named Nick Wood, who appears in the video to tell us how innovative and completely different Apple and Samsung products are from one another. You can watch the video below:
From the comparison of the Samsung Galaxy smartphone to Apple’s iPhone, the Galaxy tablet to Apple’s iPad, to the “Samsung VP” even dressing similar to Jobs, each scene tends to leave one laughing. Wood continues to talk about innovation and moves on to a slide of joke Samsung products such as the Mac-Rowave Oven, the Vac Pro vacuum, and an iWasher boasting “scroll-wheel controls.”
The video is quite hilarious and a must see for all Apple fans (even some Samsung fans might find the video funny). It’s nice to see someone joke about what is actually quite a serious and rather important court case as it brings some light-heartedness into the situation. Chances are this video is only the beginning and there are more parodies that will likely arise in the future. In the meantime, those who liked what they saw can catch The Conan Show air weeknights on TBS at 11:00pm EST/10:00pm CST.

Inb4 Metallicafan1991 makes a dumb "Samsuck" comment. On topic, the video is funny. I still find the iPad 2 parody a bit funnier

Back on topic: very funny video

Back off topic (slightly): I don't know who to side with in this patent dispute. I understand Apple's point of view, however, according to Stravinsky, lesser artists borrow and great artists steal. Samsung actually stole and made better. The form factor of the GS3 is so much nicer than that of all those leaked images of this new, stupidly long, thin iPhone. I wish the GS3 ran iOS (and was jailbroken, of course
)
FYI, it appears modmyi edited my original post to remove any criticism of their iPhone app. Slightly sinister.Last edited by csglinux; 08-08-2012 at 11:47 AM. Reason: My post was modified by moderators

Are you freaking serious?? The LG Prada was officially announced Jan 18, 2007.
The iPhone was officially announced Jan 9, 2007. Think about that for a minute.
Steve Jobs unveiled a fully working iPhone, not some sort of non-working prototype.
Sure, the Prada might have gone on sale earlier than the iPhone, but by then we already knew what the iPhone looked like and how it worked. Once the iPhone went on sale, it was just as Jobs unveiled it, i.e. no changes.

Go back and reread what I wrote. I said Officially Announced.
And even if they did announce in December, so what, are you saying that apple saw the Prada, and in 3 weeks time, they did all they're R&D, testing, etc, ready for an announcent with a fully working demo??? Ok, that's giving them a lot of credit.

Don't forget MS tries to out Apple Apple. By accident, I was in that mall a few months after the MS store had opened (I have a panoramic pic somewhere) and how blatantly MS was copying Apple was hysterical.
