Report: Scott Forstall Will Testify in Samsung Trial

Scott Forstall, the senior vice president of iOS Software at Apple, is being called to the stand.

As it turns out, the Apple vs. Samsung trial is compelling more and more high-ranking officials from the company to testify. As the bitter dispute rolls along in the legal system, Forstall is the latest heavyweight to be prepped for testimony.

According to published reports Wednesday, Forstall's testimony could come as soon as this Friday. If so, he will be the second prominent Apple executive to take the stand this week. As MMi reported this morning, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, Phil Schiller, was placed in the hot seat on Tuesday.

As of this writing, it is believed that Schiller will once again take the stand Friday as the Apple vs. Samsung trial resumes that morning. Based on the latest documents filed in court this week, the list of Apple employees expected to take the stand as witnesses in the trial also includes: Justin Denison, Wookyun Kho, Peter Bressler, Susan Kare, and Ravin Balakrishnan.
