Apple to Developers: "Start Submitting Your Mountain Lion Apps for Review"

OS X Mountain Lion’s golden master version was released today, signaling that the release of OS X Mountain Lion to the public is very near. OS X Mountain Lion will be available in the Mac App Store as a digital download for $19.99 sometime this July. In preparation for the nearing deadline for Apple’s new Mac-exclusive operating system, developers need to make sure that their applications will be compatible with the latest version of the operating system.
Apple is now letting application developers know via e-mail that it’s time to finish up their final OS X Mountain Lion testing and submit their applications to the Mac App Store:
Developers are expected by Apple to download the latest version of OS X Mountain Lion and the latest developer tools to build and test their applications. Afterwards, Apple tells developers that they need to begin submitting the applications to the Mac App Store so that they can be reviewed and approved at about the same time that the new operating system is launched – this will help create a seamless upgrade for users, with very little problems, in regards to the applications they use on their machines.
