Armed Robbers Storm Van Packed with Apple Products

In the old days, armed robbers were fond of taking aim at transport trucks carrying cash. These days, they look for trucks filled with something even more valuable - Apple products.
It was a scene out of a movie in France on Friday, when three men armed with deadly assault weapons attempted to seize and enter a van carrying thousands of dollars worth of various Apple products. Armed with M16 rifles, the men succeeded in obtaining the van's contents along with the van itself.
Reports on site subsequently revealed, however, that the van was soon found abandoned with the products nowhere to be found. But given the details still emerging, the Apple merchandise in question later turned up at a home close to where the van was dumped.
The three men who perpetrated the crime remain at large. Fortunately, through all of this, it doesn't appear that there were any injuries or lost lives. The robbers, who took control of the van near a place called Aulnay-sous-Bois, reportedly allowed the driver of the van and its one other passenger to go free shortly after the van's security was compromised.
The overall point of the story, however, is that the number of incidents around the world involving armed and sometimes violent attacks on people, places, and vehicles possessing iDevices is on the rise.

Can Apple not track the devices as soon as they're connected to a network?

Coz it's crazy to me that somebody who is supposed to be objective "journalist" to report an actual story can write such verbal diarrhea...
Then come to think of it most of the "journalists" here are nothing but fanbois...Bouchard of course takes the cake...
Swanson has recently toughened up though ...gotta give him some props...
