Aaron Sorkin Officially Signs on to Pen Screenplay for Sony Backed Jobs Biopic

Aaron Sorkin has officially signed on as the screenwriter for Sony backed Steve Jobs biopic based on the Walter Isaacson Jobs biography.
Praise be the silicon gods....“Steve Jobs’ story is unique: he was one of the most revolutionary and influential men not just of our time but of all time. There is no writer working in Hollywood today who is more capable of capturing such an extraordinary life for the screen than Aaron Sorkin; in his hands, we’re confident that the film will be everything that Jobs himself was: captivating, entertaining, and polarizing.” — Sony Pictures Co-Chairman Amy Pascal
This news is particularly welcoming after photos of Ashton Kutcher portraying Steve Jobs in another film surfaced yesterday. The photos featured Kutcher in Jobs famous black turtleneck, jeans and New Balance sneakers. The only problem? Jobs didn’t start wearing his iconic get up until a decade after the Kutcher lead project is supposed to take place. And his New Balances were grey, not white. GREY!
Back to the Sorkin penned Jobs biopic. While casting for the film is still up in the air George Clooney and Noah Wyle are to be in the running for the role of Jobs. Wyle previously portrayed Jobs in the 1999 made-for-TV film The Pirates of Silicon Valley, which focused on Jobs’ and Gates’ early days.
Sorkin has proven himself a capable scribe with some of his work including A Few Good Men, The West Wing, Moneyball, and The Social Network. His experience with real-life stories and even the semi-biopic of Mark Zuckerberg put Sony’s Jobs film head and shoulders above the completely separate Jobs film starring Kutcher.

That's too bad. I'd rather have J.J. Abrams, Roberto Orci, and Alex Kurtzman do the Screenplay
Either way I hope it turns out good!

George Clooney??????????????????????????????????????????? ??????
are they MAD????? not only he doesn't look absolutely nothing like Jobs but he's too old.....NOW!!! Noah Wyle is the obvious no brainer choice. As always Sony will probably hire some dope actor to play Jobs...how sad!!!
Steve Jobs himself said that Noah Wyle does a better impression of him than himself..LOL!!!
