Actually, I fixed my app crash problems. I updated Zeppelin and removed xMessages. Mobile Substrate tweaks definitely affect it, because I'm having little to no problems now.

People are quick to dismiss this study's data yet it is consistent with my personal usage. I have the Samsung Galaxy 10.1, Asus Transformer 101, the HP Touchpad running CM9(Ice Cream Sandwich), the OG ipad, and the Samsung Galaxy SGS2. The ipad crashes more than all of my Android devices totalled together. The only consistent crash on Android occurs on the stock browser. Never due to over tasking. Android manages multitasking better, but they have been doing it longer as well. Apple will iron things out eventually because they are an OS driven company. It is what they do best.
The OP's comment about haphazard Android releases is truly uninformed.
