Which Mac are you using?

Wife got me the MacBook pro for Christmas last year top of the line the guy said

No issue with update on MacBook Pro 15" (Core2Duo) but it was over 1GB of a download

When I updated today it came back and the top bar was missing. Moved my mouse along top and it was not there. I rebooted again and it was gone then I moved mouse along top and it came back.

I have this happen with the desktop and or status bar on my Brand New MacbookPro but if u Click on the desktop or in the status bar location(the top of the screen) they both self fix

I was hoping the Safari bug was fixed that doesn't allow closing of the definition box after you've looked up a word when in Reader (unless you totally close Reader). It's not.

Just tried this, If you have the dialog box open, just scroll the page up or down and the dialog box goes away.
or just 'look up' the same word again and it goes away.

Installed this tonight and it seems to be working great. Web pages seem a little slower but nothin to complain about.

Be sure to run a permissions check. I had a few things out of whack after this update.
