I've never heard of storage being referred to as memory. But the program is nowhere near 8GB, so explain that in more depth?

To the ones crying this aint ssh'ing...Quit banging on the writers for possible mis led ssh vs direct connection. You all know what they meant. Wanna do a better in depth write up, start a blog. The post is far more informative than it is misleading for a majority of users on here.

Can you add a custom text alert through this program easily? (Still on iOS4).

I was referring to the memory. Was transferring like 100MB. Took a lot of time, and memory '-.- Thought it was Ps, but nothing happened when I closed that. 8GB of memory was freed after closing iExplorer =p

yeah, I was surprised too '-.- Maybe it was because I was transferring a lot of MB at the same time? I've got no idea, lol.

Yes it does. Biggest difference is you cannot set file permissions with usb connection programs like this where with using SSH you can. Not a big deal though. I use iexplorer and diskaid to transfer files and if I need to change a permission on a file I use iFile on the device itself.

iFunBox also does the same thing and works well for me, because I only do stuff like going into the root of the device when I'm manually theming my icons when I'm on my Windows machine.

The only reason I've needed the SSH features is to change permissions on the SMS DB after moving that across when I restored as new on 5.0.1.

I tried it and no way to transfer files from your iPhone to PC without downloading all these other programs they have to go along with it. :/

Of limited use, but you can get into apps and some media. I was able to replace the sound file on an app with a custom sound file of my own. I've really been missing that custom alert on that app since going non-jailbroken. But can you make gui changes or other such changes as you could using SHSH? No. But it's free and worth checking out.

I have been able to use this for everything that I've ever used CyberDuck for.

True. I think it's easier to use and with more features.
