Apple Rumored To Bring AirPlay Mirroring and iMessage To Mac OS X
According to sources who are familiar with the future of the Mac OS X, the popular AirPlay Mirroring feature (found in the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S) and iMessage (found on iOS 5) are currently in development. It may be possible that neither project may surface to the public but the two features are said to be on the list of updates for Mac OS X Lion.
iMessage would allow the Mac computer user to message users on iOS 5 devices for free. The feature that seems to be more interesting is AirPlay Mirroring. Having this feature included on the OS X Lion would allow the user to mirror the desktop onto another screen wirelessly. This would be an excellent way to shoot a presentation from a Mac over to a big screen or projector for the business user. The feature would allow the Mac user to toss content from the MacBook over to the Apple TV – allowing users to stream stuff onto their living room TV. The AirPlay video streaming is said to be integrated into QuickTimeX.
As of right now, Apple hasn’t released any official confirmation of the features so we’ll just have to patiently wait for more information. It definitely seems plausible and I for one look forward to having the two features on the Mac OS X. It seems like the next logical step for Apple to take since the introduction of these features with iOS 5.
What do you guys think? Are you looking forward for these features on the Mac OS X?

I could definitely see both features on OSX. I love my apple tv, and would love to be able to mirror my laptop to it. Lion was designed so well for laptops.
