Default Apple Seeds Mac OS X 10.7.2 Beta and iCloud Beta 10

Apple is going to make it an extra-special extended holiday weekend for developers this Labor Day, as the folks in Cupertino have just seeded to developers the newest test builds of OS X 10.7.2 and iCloud for OS X.

Mac OS X 10.7.2 (build 11C48) brings with it encouragement for developers to concentrate on AirPort, AppKit, GraphicsDrivers, iCal, iChat, the Mac App Store, Spotlight and Time Machine.

Today's release also underscores the breakneck pace at which Apple continues to chug along at getting iCloud up to speed and perfected in the eyes of the developer community. After all, only one week has passed (to the day, in fact) since Apple released the previous seeds. This latest release clearly emphasizes the urgency with which Apple is looking to complete final preparation on iCloud before its release (possibly within weeks).

Only two short days ago, developers were given iOS 5 beta 7, which delivered fixes and myriad improvements for the mobile operating system that powers Apple's iPhone and iPad.
