Apple Seeds Lion 10.7.2 and iCloud for Lion Beta 5 to Developers for Testing
Over the weekend, Apple released Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 build 11C26 and the fifth pre-release version of iCloud to developers for testing. In a somewhat unusual move, Apple is requiring developers use Lion 10.7.2, even though version 10.7.1 has yet to be released.
It’s very likely, however, that due to the various bugs being reported by early adopters of Lion, Apple is already preparing to release an update that will deal with these bugs. If all goes well, Lion 10.7.1 could be released as early as next week, although Apple has yet to commented on the subject.
According to Apple’s developer site, "You must install OS X Lion 10.7.2 in order to use iCloud for OS X Lion beta 5. This pre-release version of OS X Lion is being provided solely for testing iCloud.”
The latest version of Mac OS X 10.7.2 makes significant updates to Lion’s "Mail, Contacts and Calendars" control panel. This is where users will ultimately choose what types of data they want to sync with iCloud.
With the successful release of Apple’s latest installment of Mac OS X, they still have a significant amount of work ahead of them if they want to meet their self-imposed deadline of a fall release for iCloud and iOS 5. Hopefully, Lion will be able to crush a few bugs before then so we can all concentrate on enjoying the latest version of iOS 5 when it comes out.

I'm loving iCloud and 10.7.2!
Got it working with iOS 5 b5 and now only have my old MobileMe for email and previous calendar entries.
The sync with iCloud is seemless and photostream is awesome!
