Earlier this week Apple sent out an email to developers asking them to submit their Lion ready apps fo approval to be posted in the Mac App Store. Well those apps are already appearing in the Mac App Store according to OS X Daily.

Apps for the Mac App Store, to be approved, must be tested with the Gold Master build of Lion that was issued to developers on July 1. Apps like WordCrasher mention the Apps ability to take advantage new OS X Lion features like full screen mode, and Lion's Resume feature, allowing users to resume their game right where you left it even if the user restarts their computer.

Apple has also taken the liberty to update their own applications including the iLife 11' suite and Aperture to take advantage of Lions new features. While rumors of a Thursday launch proved false, all signs are pointing to a Lion making its way to the Mac App Store very, very soon.
