    Yes it is.
Should have shatter proof windows. Teach employee to walk away before things escalate to where they have no control. Hit another person once is bad enough, but beat him up with a weapon?

Yah and I'm sure they expected this type of behavior when they hired him.(yes that's sarcasm)

People these days are unpredictable. It's not "apples" fault, its the employee. I get pissed off at customers but I'm not going to beat them and If I did nobody should blame the company.

You wouldn't happen to be related to the lady that sued McD's over the hot coffee?

Blame everyone else and no one will ever take responsibility. It's always someone else that caused it. Hmmmm. Perhaps we can also blame Sony. I'm sure there is a game where someone gets points for beating people with a iron rod!

    COME ON REALLY?!????!!

Apple is liable because it happened on their property (kinda like car insurance). But to claim they are the cause?!?! meh

    Nope.
I am saying is it that hard to predict a crowd on introduction of your device to public? Should they not know there will be stress to your employees and should remind them to stay calm and walk away in situations where you do not feel comfortable?
Apple is responsible for safety of its customers, to be beat up by an employee with an iron bar???? Seriously???? Where is the rest of the employees to stop this guy?

This is what happens when you try to the last iPad that the Apple Employee wanted.
"I want to change the world but they won't give me the source code"

"With Great Power , Comes Great responsibility" That is something we all need to remember
