iTunes 10.2 Available Now
With the announcement of the iPad 2 comes iTunes 10.2. The update brings forth compatibility with the new iOS4.3 firmware, which will be available March 11th.
iTunes 10.2 is safe for anyone concerned about jailbreaking, but if you need even more confirmation, @Musclenerd has put his faith in it as well.
As usual, a few minor bugs have been fixed as well with this release.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but what's the difference between 4.2.1 and 4.3 (or iPod touch 2g)?
03-02-2011, 08:48 PM #12
For* iPod touch 2g
03-02-2011, 08:55 PM #13
I don't think 2g iPod can have iOS 4.3. It means the it will be left behind on any and all new features from now on.

so there's no point in updating iTunes?

For a 2G user: nothing really because iTunes itself did not add anything new.

Not sure if it was just me but when I updated win7 to SP1 iTunes 10.1.2 would delete my playlist and when I tried to re sync it showed done but when I opened iPod it showed nothing. Also I couldn't sync half of my apps with my iPhone. But anyw has any one updated to win7 SP1 and had the same problem? And if so has itune 10.2 resolved that issue.
