The 17" MBP has a resolution of 1920 x 1200.

AMD makes ATI Radeon. Just like Nvidia is synonymous to GeForce.

I've always wondered, what does this mean? I can tell from these images that the new MacBook Pro, like mine from last year, has the same empty slot on the front left. Where can I get the support for SDXC, because there is not a SD slot built into the MacBook Pro, it's more like there is a port to add a slot.

There are SD Card slots on 13" and 15" MacBook Pros. The 17" has an express card slot

AMD stopped using the ATi brand late last year.

Yeah I said at the same display size. Last time I checked 15" is not the same at 17"
And you can upgrade to 1680x1050 on 15" too so that beats your Acer. Now who's got the "ugly" resolution

And Apple still continues to price their products in a world where $1 is equal to €1

That's why I have always bought my Apple Products from the U.S. and saved myself hundreds.
Eg. If I want the entry level 15" I would save €500 buy buying from the U.S, and €700 with the 17"

For everyone complaining about it not having an SSD for the OS... get an MCE Optibay and do it yourself. lol. Fact is most laptops don't have a dedicated SSD for the OS. I don't see how this is a dealbreaker on this one. My 15" pro is currently running an SSD for OSX and a HDD for all my files.

Thats just nit-picking now. I bet you wouldn't be able to distinguish between 1280x800 and a higher resolution on the same sized display

I definitely would. I have a Vaio Z with 1920x1080 on a 13.1" and you have to be blind not to notice the extra pixels. Even with a 1600x900 or a 1440x900, there's clearly a difference no matter the size of the display. I'm guessing you've never seen a 13" screen higher than 1280x800 which is why you came to that false assumption. Either that, or you just like Apple too much =P

That's terrible business. "We are releasing something in two months guys which will be better and cheaper than what we have now. So make sure and stop buying out products until then." What company does this? The answer is no company (or rather no successful company).
