Do I have to download cydia on my own?
No new Icons poped up on my phone.

Seems like the trend is to try it over and over until it works. But I'm seeing a lot of success so keep on trying guys

    THIS WORKS!

Keep holding the HOME button until you get scrolling text.

When I tried this it went to the stock Apple recovery mode. Tell me if I did something wrong:

Ran GP, stuck at initializing. Held home and sleep, let go of sleep when apple logo showed, but held home.

Reboot how? Just hold down the Sleep button?

Have to find how to do a manual DFU....

Reboot by holding the home and power button until it reboots.

Hold home and power until device shuts off. Release then press power, when apple logo shows, hold home too for 10 seconds until screen goes black, then release power and hold home until the codes show.

GP must be run from DFU mode... not recovery mode.

    true that..

I just kept trying until it worked on my iPad. It took about 5 tries.

I did do the "hold home button forever" suggestion, but that didn't seem to do it. However, the immediate retry after that attempt seemed to work.

The difference I noticed (when it worked) is the greenp0is0n app took a bit longer to hit "complete" than it did when it didn't work.

Strange stuff - woot! No more booting with a computer! Now...just need this for AppleTV2!!! :0

When it gets stuck on the 4 lines of text just relaunch greenpois0n and rerun it right from that screen.
