Why is it than everyone is so cock sure that Apple will NEVER be beaten. Jobs and his tribe of merry men might all be very clever and have held the market untill now but sure as eggs are eggs someone, somewhere, somewhen will blast Apple out of the sky with a product far superior to iOS and related hardware.
Given the technology within the iPhone etc, Apple products could be the very best on the market for many more years but Apple do not seem to see this and restricts and curtails any really good apps. All Apple has done so far is to let thousands of totally useless aps fill their store. (What use is an app that must be loaded onto two iPhones that permits bluetooth swap with a restriction that limits the transmition to just a few yards or an app that produces farts?] This will eventualy be their downfall.
As for Jailbreaking, there are millions of iProducts out there and probably 95% of the users have not even heard of Jailbreaking let alone do it. To this end I do not see what Apple has to worry about.

2. Good luck further killing your already piece of sorry phone.
Since I already know you have no idea what you are talking about, nor know the risks of overclocking and undervolting, I will just leave it at that.
3. You have already lost, no one agrees with you.

^I agreed with a few of his points, I just know it's pointless to try and debate something with you.

I have no love lost for Jobs and his way of thinking, you got a problem with that?
You may be too simple to understand but sites like this exist because people do not appreciate when a bloody tyrant tries to tell them what they can or cannot do with their legally purchased product.
So fack Jobs, the Apple Store and iTunes. I install anything, anytime on my iPhone without the approval, agreement or knowledge of Apple or Jobs.
Where in that post did I wish death on the guy?
I said if he goes he goes, I for one won't shed a tear.
I never said it isn't a good enough platform, I said I hate control freaks and egomaniacs and Jobs is one of the biggest ones around.
I won't be told by some punk hardware vendor what I can install on my phone, and how. If it wasn't for all the mad geniuses at the Dev Teams, we'd only be able to use that shite iTunes to load music, pics, etc on the iPhone but then again without them I would have never bough the iPhone in the first place.
It's all done to enhance his company's bottom line.
I won't play that game.
I purchased his hardware and that's where our relationship ends.
So screw Jobs and all his minions.
The more I read about him the more despicable he appears:
“..Jobs experimented with psychedelics, calling his LSD experiences "one of the two or three most important things [he had] done in [his] life"
“Atari had offered US$100 for each chip that was eliminated in the machine. Jobs had little interest or knowledge in circuit board design and made a deal with Wozniak to split the bonus evenly between them if Wozniak could minimize the number of chips. Much to the amazement of Atari, Wozniak reduced the number of chips by 50, a design so tight that it was impossible to reproduce on an assembly line. At the time, Jobs told Wozniak that Atari had only given them $700 (instead of the actual $5000) and that Wozniak's share was thus $350.”
“While Jobs was a persuasive and charismatic director for Apple, some of his employees from that time had described him as an erratic and temperamental manager.”
“In the coming months, many employees developed a fear of encountering Jobs while riding in the elevator, "afraid that they might not have a job when the doors opened. The reality was that Jobs' summary executions were rare, but a handful of victims was enough to terrorize a whole company.”
Read wikipedia, while it may not be all the truth all the time it can be pretty reliable:
Ripping off his friend, Wozniak, who made him money that he couldn’t make himself because he was a talentless hack at the time, is as disgusting as it comes.
I think it sums up his personality very nicely.
So good riddance appleboy, have a nice trip whenever/wherever you go.

Wow, was a complete tard. You shouldn't be disrespectful to someone about them "going away" ESPECIALLY when they could very well be "going away". Pretty selfish.
And if Steve Jobs "goes away" well..have fun with your new crapples...

Absolutely. My views and interpretations of the world were profoundly and permanently effected by them.
Keep in mind, I'm 4+ years sober now.
If you're not interested in them for whatever reason, at least go read Alduous Huxley's: The Doors of Perception. It's a pretty quick read (120pp?) and thoroughly explains them (although his book was based on mescaline experimentation, it all applies to other psychedelics).

No thanks. I'd rather get my world views from the wise rather than psychedelics. Just me talking
