I had a war with myself between the 11 and 13 for 3 days before I made my 11" choice... lol. I have a 13" MPB that I"m selling and just wanted something super light and portable. Hell 50% of what I do on it is web and forums.

This is seriously a sexy notebook... I cannot wait to get my hands on one at the local Apple store.

For anyone doubting the performance of these needs to go play at the Apple store before making a judgement. Watching HD video is stunning... web browsing is lightning fast as my 2.53Ghz MBP. The only thing that will take longer is encoding custom firmware files with Pwnage Tool but since this isn't a daily task no worries.

So this thig is capable of running the latest version of Pwnage tool right? Cause for some reason my hackintosh crashes when trying to make a custom firmware for my iP4.

Of course... Macbook Air runs OSX so it's 100% compatible with Pwnage Tool.

I wonder why my hackintosh had problems with only the iP4 firmware. It just crashes the system. I've used it for over a year and it does a 3GS firmware just fine

    look it's a box...

    LMAO...

The new air does look pretty nice.. Am a windows user but I've been wanting to get myself a Mac for some time now. But don't know if I should go with the MacBook Pro 17"
or this New MacBook Air 13"

Cause when it comes down to computers, tv etc. Bigger simply is better (in my case) but idk this 13" Air looks really nice.

You know, this comparison of pics reinforves something for me... how thing the Mac Book Pro really is! Yes, I did mean MBP. It is notably thicker than the air, but it still looks quit thin next to the ultra thin air.

I have a few questions for you on this. I only have one mac right now but am looking to build a nice hackintosh to create a shared network at home. How does this do with shared data from another computer and do you find the memory size is a hinderance or an advantage?

Now that is classy. Thinking I'll be getting one of these to put next to my 8 Core Xeon Mac Pro at home. Its a perfect replacement for my 2 and a half year old MacBook!

I hope they adopt the OS flash drive for all of their computers. My last MacBook I sold I went to use the restore disc and it snapped with slight touch.

Why is everyone saying these air computers are so fast? Even my friend that has a Macbook Pro is saying it's fast. It must be the SSD. I'm going to be !!!! if it feels faster than my i7.

For the average user (browsing the net, maybe watching some movies and listening to some music), the limiting factor has been hard drive seek time for a very long time (I would say maybe 5+ years). Dropping an SSD into almost any relatively modern system is going to show a nice performance boost.
