HP has had the touchscreen all-in-ones for a while too, have you ever used one? The touch screen is one of the biggest gimmicks out there. I'm sure all the hipster hollister stores would love having touch iMacs as their registers, but for the general public it is one of the worst ideas I can think of. Zeal was right, the price will be ridiculous.

Apple has been testing touchscreen macs for a long many years. They will release a product when they feel it's ready. Be patient and you'll be rewarded.
They can have my jailbreak when they pry it from my cold dead fingers.

I cannot think of a situation where I would want to touch my computer screen. I do alot of photo editing, so I'm trying to think of an application where a touchscreen would help with that, but I just can't think of it.
