They'll probably just use this to make their cases thinner. It probably won't have much impact on Apple's designs, which all tent to evolve towards some form of block, trapezoid, or extruded square (all boring).
But that it can be molded is pretty neat, and should cut down on production costs by decreasing the amount of time spent on milling out a block of aluminum.
Very cool stuff!

Ahh yes another one of those "Its so strong" things being used by Apple. Didnt we see awhile back where the Isuck4 screen was suppose to be by some helicopter windshield material and therfore made stronger. Damn didnt we see that FAILURE already.
What next Iphone running Slackware booting Lilo and /exec BitchX. Ahh yes that would be the day of pure ownage.
I can see it now /exec -o df -m and some /exec -o fortune. Well that IS if ur running in BitchX lol. Come on crapple, give us a real phone next year.

Steve Jobs drops off the face of the earth for a "liver transplant", and now they've developed a light weight, easily molded super-strong alloy. Can't you see what's going on?!! iRonMan!

That would be really awesome to protect those precious screens when we drop our phones. Havent seen any of this stuff show up on any armor yet we use, but sure the heck would be nice to have my iphone or macbook made out of the same stuff protecting us on our trucks.

Liquidmetal=cool!
But does it impede antenna performance when you hold it in your hand?

Lmao this one cracked me up!!!
The iPhone 6 liquid metal is not only comes with an app for everything.......it's made out of liquid metal so that in those moments when you need a precious condom it can be made into one. Or knife, base ball bat, golf, earring and a lot of another useful things.
This is the future.
We will even give you a small box with the shapes of what you want. so you just stick your iPhone in it and stick in the oven or microwave. Start the melting and if you want your iPhone back just use the iPhones shape box.
*it can be droped from 20 feet and it will not break.
*death grip free, no kore signal lose.
Iphone 6 this changes everything- again and again - again
*pls don't hold your iPhone with both hands signal might decay if hold in such ways.
* fall tested on a trampoline surface.Last edited by endwaro; 08-10-2010 at 09:17 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost
