Converging iOS with Mac OS would not only completely destroy the history behind the name, it'll alienate those who use Macs for purposes other than surfing the web and listening to music. In my opinion the farther Apple keeps these two away the better. In the computer world iOS is communist China and Mac OS is Canada.
