Do not post asking for Dev slots. That is why we have a buy/sell/trade section.

i just installed iOS 4.0 GM and multitasking is still not working with Pandora am i doing something wrong or any other developer out there have the same issues i am using a 32gb 3GS iphone.

I could be wrong, but from what I remember in some past readings is that Pandora has to be updated to enable multitasking. I think the method apple is using for multi-tasking most apps will have to be updated.

it seems that the latest update from pandora was not the one for multitasking....

U are most like right maybe Pandora needs to update but i tough the iphone software would do the job not just the individual app.

It savestates just fine, but in order for audio to play in the background the dev has to code the background audio service in to the app. They will release that once 4.0 official releases. Until then it will only savestate.

Hahaha!
So it relies on the dev for multitasking!?
I have apps for audio which haven't been updated in a year and I'm supposed to believe they'll update now?
And kirikae works well now.

Not true, with the betas at least. iTunes will work on windows with the os 4 but you can not install/restore to it using Windows iTunes, that part must be done on a mac.
I know multiple people posted about this but I figured I'd just quote the first one. If you were here last summer for 3.0's release then you should recall seeing iTunes shoot out a rush of app updates in the weeks leading up to the upgrade that all said "version: XXX (iPhone OS 3.0 Tested)". The new features like multitasking are possible by utilizing the new apis that Apple gave devs access too with the 4.0 betas (3.0 was a couple hundred at most, 4.0 is like 1500 apis). Once those are implemented and the app update is released then your beloved Pandora can go to work taking advantage of our grandfathered-in unlimited bandwidth

In other words. Unless you are actually a real devoloper there is no reason to install ios4 cuz is like going a step back from a 3.1.3 jailbroked device.

Apps definitely need updating. At the iOS 4 preview event they talked about having to make apps background aware to work with multitasking. It really isn't that long to wait till 21st, them hopefully we will see a flurry of app updates released. I for one are praying Skype is one of them, considering they showed off their backgrounding app at the preview one would think its ready to go, but with their track record for updates, who knows!!!
