Anybody notice problems with JB/Unlocked devices once they install 9.2?

why is it called goldmaster?
06-08-2010, 06:11 AM #28
Goldmaster usually means there will be no significant changes before release so deva can assume this is the final version as they are developing.
My question is whether this is coming to the iPad. All the big sites seem to be assuming it does but I haven't seen any confirmation. You can't download a gold master version for iPad and we haven't seen any demos of it running on the iPad. Perhaps a more customized version is coming to the iPad or something.

Wrong, Gold Master IS the final, there will be no more changes.

iOS 4.1 will be where these two OSes converge. The question is whether that will happen at the September iPod event or at an iPad event in January. (Perhaps setting the stage for iPad January, iPhone June, iPod September).
That 326ppi screen will be killer on the next iPad, however.

That really stinks about the iPad version, although there aren't really any improvements that the jailbreak community doesn't already have. However if updated iPad apps stop working on the iPad because of 4.0 that really would suck.

Working great. Cant wait for MyWi update
06-08-2010, 08:12 AM #33
Why is it people just don't pay attention or remember anything?! Steve Jobs said crystal clear when he announced the existence of 4.0 that it would be available for the iPhone in the "summer" and for the iPad in the the "fall". Nothing has changed.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

My Mac: iMac 21.6" 2.5GHz Quad-Core i5, 4GB RAM, 500GB, AMD 512MB Video (10.6.6)
iOS Devices: iPhone 4 32GB (4.3.2 JB) | iPad 2 16GB (4.3.2) | Apple TV 2G (4.3 JB)

MyWi will not be updated in Cydia until after the public release of iOS4. A new jailbreak will be released by the Dev Team but they don't give release dates so no one can speculate for you.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Just want to confirm that this works on my non-dev account iPhone 3G on iTunes 9.2 beta but if you're jailbroken, its definitely not worth it on a 3G.....pretty much none of the cool features are here. It is noticeably faster though!
