I don't think there will ever be cheaper Macs. Jobs prides himself on his Macs and the price points.

ATI on the other hand, I tend to stay away from. Games have always run better on nVidia cards in my experience. Even the 5700 and 5800 series cards are having issues with Bad Company 2, and I can't handle that since that's the game I play the most these days.
Completely agree. AMD > Intel | nVidia > ATI

Sorry. I don't spend all of my time in the processor scene, except when I'm buying a new computer, and even then I only look into the processors that are used in the ones I'm looking at. And since I've never looked at a computer with AMD processors, I don't know much about them.

Although it may not be confirmed that Apple is going to AMD, it is still news.
Are you serious? This is as much news as was the article about Steve Jobs having coffee with Eric Schmidt. Who the f*** cares?

"Uber wealthy corporate types meeting to talk". That's not news.

Just because I didn't know they met doesn't make it newsworthy. You may have eaten tacos last night, which is something I wouldn't have known, but it's also not newsworthy and isn't something worth publishing... because no one gives a damn!

... Well considering you can install an 86 environment on a x64 cpu (since a x64 cpu is much better %-P) I don't really understand some of these complaints on an x64 processor. All computers use x64 CPUs now just they might have a 32bit system running on them instead (retarded though everyone should make the change to 64bit and get it over with 64bit has more potential than 32bit which is dated and can't evolve anymore.)
