Why would Apple target Windows piraters? Frankly, I don't have a clue. And I'm not completely convinced they're targeting pirates, either.

I bought Windows 7 for my laptop which has 4gb of memory. I like it, but I won't lie, I downloaded a copy for my desktop in the living room. I wish is was like Office, can be used in more then one computer,

If Mac is all great and powerful then why build something like Boot Camp to RUN Windows on your Mac (Apple - Mac OS X - Windows Compatibility - How Mac works with PCs). 99% of Mac owners run Windows in some way. Theres nothing (other than the iPhone SDK) a Mac can do that a PC cant. Its a Windows world. The world runs on it and I fear that no matter how many Im a Mac and Im a PC ads run, thats never going to change. Apple is going to have to wake up and start offering their Operating System to everyone. Maybe then well see Microsoft advertising how Windows "plays nice" with others and can run MacOSX too. Also, enjoy your games. lol

me personally i wasn't to cheap to pay the price for the upgrade, i tested the beta releases of 7, and it was worth it.

Also, before anybody gets on my case about why im on this forum in the first place. Since this IS an Apple tech forum. I love the iPhone. Its a great phone. Is it the best? Right now it is (Im man enough to admit it). But any intelligent person can see that Android is the future. You have all these different manufacturers getting together on ONE universal platform. You know something great is going to happen. I for one am not a fan of Apple's approval methods for the AppStore. Anyways im going off topic. I didn't mean to turn this into a flame war. Im a gadget freak and if I had enough money to throw around on stupid toys, id probably buy a Mac just to have one and play around with it. But I cant justify spending $1600 on a laptop when I have a perfectly good computer that does everything I want it to do without having to boot into another OS.

This pissed me off and disappointed me...see, I was gonna give you a thanks for a relatively mature post (not many of those on this site recently) then your last five words completely and utterly ruined it; now you've been put in the playroom with all the other children here. Not everyone plays games, genius...
That said, I've been playing L4D2, CSS, COD4 and Team Fortress 2 on my Macbook Pro beautifully for the past few weeks. I'll be doing some Modern Warfare 2 next week. I may get Borderlands as well.

Why target piraters? its so simple 0$ for pirating and (X)000$ (X states for a number, i had to explain this because kids would cry trying to understand this) quadruple digit for buying a mac
